As Founder and Managing Director of Franklin Capital Advisors, he founded a regional investment banking and turnaround consulting firm and currently manages multiple advisory assignments for lower-middle-market clients. Previously, he served as Managing Director at Capstone Partners and was a Co-Founder and Partner of Amherst Partners, where he helped grow the firm to national prominence. He has completed over 75 investment banking transactions and over 35 complex restructuring and receivership engagements. Scott has served on numerous corporate boards, including PC Server and Parts, Speed Grip, and the regional advisory board of Horizon Bank. A respected figure in his field, he holds leadership roles in organizations such as the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth, where he received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
